“Great location, clean and simple. Great service, very nice and hard working cleaning ladies. Great price too. I would recomend 10/10.”

“A hostel that is better and has more than apartments and hotels where we paid much more in a room with a private bathroom. The girl Kristina was at the reception and she was very nice. If you arrive early you can leave your things at the reception until the room is ready for you to enter. Our room was ready and we were able to enter before the regular 2pm In a room are sef, slippers, hairdryer, shower gel, soap, shampoo, coffee, tea (in the common area there is a kettle, microwave) plates, cutlery, glasses, cups, sponge and dishwashing detergent. Common outdoor area with tables for smokers or when the weather is nice and an indoor area with tables. Within 100m bus stop for the airport C06, trams (4 different lines) and 2 bus stops for different parts of the city. The only thing is that the soundproofing between the rooms is not good, but that was the case in every accommodation we stayed in Spain.”

“Front desk ladies were really nice. We stayed on Jul 31 to Aug. 2. Our room was very clean and new. You can't be loud past 10pm which we really liked because the place was quiet around bed time ( we our in our late 20s and not really into partying and we sleep early) great for families. We really enjoyed our stay here. I highly recommend this place. It's close to the famous castle and a walking distance to the beach.”

“Well located, modern and comfortable The hostal is nicely situated, close to the city center but in a quieter area. The room was clean, well-equipped, and pleasantly decorated. I especially appreciated the small fridge and good shower. Only drawback: it can feel a bit impersonal, and some small touches were missing to make it feel truly welcoming. Still, a solid option for a short stay in Alicante.”

“Great rooms, clean and very comfortable bed. Best sleep we've had in a long time. We checked in late but the reception sent us videos how to check in and get keys. Very detailed and we really appreciated that effort. Bargain I paid £38 for a night!”

“This is an excellent place to stay for a night or so, the only blemish is the location which is what it is. It’s located behind the Santa Barbara Castle half way up the hill and only a 15 minute walk if you venture left out of the building to the beach. If it’s Alicante centre you want go right out of the El Patio and head for the bull ring which again takes about 15 minutes, remember it’s up hill back. The receptionist was very polite and helpful and communication pre arrival was also excellent. We stayed in a double room with en-suite with one of the best showers we’ve had at a stay anywhere, powerful deluge head and hose spray, only slight issue with the doors not sealing causing excessive water onto bathroom floor. My wife tells me the hairdryer was really good also providing a good blast of air not the breeze hotel hairdryers often give you. Very quiet although the air con and fridge compressor a little noisy at night although ear plugs provided. You could easily cope with the air con off at night due to the cool rooms however my wife insisted air remained on due to her menopausal hot flushes . There are both inside and outside common areas, inside has a snack and drinks vending machine with complimentary tea, coffee, water facilities and a microwave, outside has aiders for drying clothes.”

“As seniors (70-ish), the location was great; right by the metro station, easy access to the beach (a bit of a hill). We actually could walk the 25 mins to Train Stn. Staff, room and amenities were very, very good.”
